“Compatriots and Intergenerational continuity” international conference was held in Moscow 30-31 October 2019.
On the agenda of the conference were the issues of Russian women in politics, business, sports, culture, and art in Russia and abroad; women's entrepreneurship; protecting the legal rights and interests of compatriots abroad; educating the younger generation of compatriots.
At the Final Plenary Session, the Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra presented Okrug’s experience in cooperation with compatriots.
Since 2013, Ugra has accumulated sufficient experience of interaction with its compatriots: together with Rossotrudnichestvo, projectsare being successfully implemented in a number of foreign countries (Kyrgyzstan, Slovakia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and the Czech Republic) to preserve and promote russian-taught education and the Russian language abroad, promote Russian culture, and support Russian-speaking schools abroad. In this work, a crucial role is assigned to women compatriots and Representatives of Public Organizations.
Participants of the "Compatriots and Intergenerational continuity" international conference are invited to the Strategic Session "Women's Influence on Regional Development" within the IV International Humanitarian Forum "Civil Initiatives of the 60 Parallel Regions", which will be held in Surgut on 7–8 December 2019 with representatives of the Women Influence Forum and the Eurasian Association of Women-Regional Leaders present.
