10 women from Ugra will take part in the "Woman - Leader" program
Ten women from Ugra will become the first listeners of the federal program "Woman-Leader". Governor of Ugra Natalya Komarova told about this during a TASS press conference.
The “Woman - Leader” program is aimed at forming and developing a community of successful women. The first listeners of the program will be more than 300 active participants in the projects of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum, the winners and finalists of the Leaders of Russia competition for managers of the presidential platform Russia - Land of Opportunities.
According to the head of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, the composition of the first stream had to be increased by one and a half times due to the large number of applicants.
“In the modern world, it is women with an inherent tendency to find a compromise, the ability to put themselves in the place of another, to understand his motives, to find a mutually acceptable solution who can achieve impressive results. And then, I am sure, the need for a new, softer, management style will only increase, ”said Valentina Matvienko.
According to the speaker of the upper house of parliament, the image of a woman leader in modern Russia needs to be popularized. Despite the fact that in Russia gender equality is ensured “both legally and politically, including in terms of career opportunities,” the image of a successful Russian is associated with men in 83% of cases.
Another fact cannot be ignored that the wages of women in Russia are, on average, one third lower than those of men.
10 women from Ugra came to participate in the educational program "Woman - Leader". Natalia Komarova did not mention their names so as not to interfere with the competition.
“My compatriots' task is to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to realize their own capabilities. This program will allow them to find the maximum opportunities in themselves for useful use in the workplace, in the regions and in the country as a whole. Women combine creativity, creativity, courage, and the ability to take responsibility for children, relatives and friends, ”said the Governor of Ugra and wished all the project participants success.
According to the head of the region, society needs more flexibility in order to bypass obstacles and not crumble during a period of rapid changes.
“Every year we call on women to take an active part in projects of the Russia - Land of Opportunities platform, and we sincerely rejoice for their successes,” Alexei Komissarov, Director General of the Russia - Land of Opportunities ANO, said at a press conference.
According to him, this season in Leaders of Russia 19% of the super-finalists (58 people) are women. And among the winners - a quarter. This is the highest figure in all three seasons.
It should be noted that this year four residents of Ugra took part in the superfinal of the Leaders of Russia project, among them one woman, Anna Zadimidchenko from Surgut.
