The partner of the Eurasian Association of Women Regional Leaders presented the exhibition to the international community
In June 2024, on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the RussianLanguage, the Day of Russia, the presentation of the exhibition of the 5th
international photo contest “Mother and Children in national costumes” was held,
organized by the regional public association “International Union of Women.”
The exhibition of the photo contest was presented at the Russian Embassy in
Austria, the Russian Embassy in Mongolia, the Kondrad Hotel in Istanbul during a
reception organized by the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in
Istanbul.
The presentation of the exhibition caused a wide response among representatives
of the Embassy and the international community.
The international photo contest is held under the auspices of the Commission of
the Russian Federation for UNESCO, with the support of the Federal Agency for
Nationalities of Russia, the Russian Geographical Society and is designed to
demonstrate the national flavor of the peoples of our country.
The competition is aimed at helping to preserve the national identity, cultures and
traditions of the peoples of Russia and foreign countries through the national
costume of mothers and children.
The initiative to hold a photo contest is in line with the goals and objectives of
state policy aimed at strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values
of civic unity and preserving the cultural and historical heritage of the
multinational people of the Russian Federation and friendly foreign countries.
