The first international women's business forum is going to be held in Dagestan in the spring

The International Women's Business Forum is planned to be held in Dagestan in March for the first time. It is expected that representatives of about 10 countries will take part in it.

Zulgimar Tagibova-Richinskaya, chairman of the Dagestan regional branch of Opora Rossii, commented:

"On March 8, we plan to hold an international women's business forum. We found understanding with the government of the republic in terms of holding such an event. Representatives of Azerbaijan, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Turkey, Uzbekistan are expected to participate - I think that in total we will have more than 10 countries Of course, everything will depend on the epidemiological situation and which countries' borders will be open"

According to her, during the forum it is planned to hold round tables, educational programs, presentations of social projects, as well as exhibitions of artworks by participants, including women with disabilities.

"The forum will also coincide with the launch of several business projects that are being implemented by Dagestani women entrepreneurs with the support of Opora Rossii in Dagestan. In addition, in March we plan to hold the New Opportunities for Women program in order to sum up its results at the forum and to award the winners.We plan to invite senators who deal with women's issues, other famous people who have contributed to the development of the women's movement and women's entrepreneurship to participate in the forum, "said the chairman.

It is planned that one of the key topics of the forum will be the development of tourism in Dagestan and the North Caucasus as a whole.
