TO CREATE A SITE DEDICATED TO WOMEN'S FEAT IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR, PROPOSED AT THE ROUND TABLE "WOMEN OF THE XXI CENTURY FOR LIFE"
On April 5, a round table "Women of the 21st century for life" was held in Moscow.
During the dialogue, the participants proposed to create a website dedicated to the women's feat in the Great Patriotic War, to open a permanent exhibition of portraits of women participating in hostilities, and to publish a book of their military biographies.
Member of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum Inna Svyatenko took part in the round table. She stressed that a woman has always played a special role in achieving military victories in our country, preserving the historical memory and patriotic education of the younger generation.
The Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum, together with the Eurasian Children's Community, are implementing projects aimed at patriotic education and the preservation of historical memory, with the participation of schoolchildren. One of them is "20 Cities of Russia" - a collection of videos in which children told about their native city and its main historical milestones. The project was presented at the Third Eurasian Women's Forum.
Every city in Russia has a history of women's feat accomplished during the Great Patriotic War.
The round table was organized with the support of the Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for perpetuating the memory of those who died defending the Fatherland, the All-Russian organization "Officers of Russia" and the Coordinating Council of NGOs.
