The final module of the Ural Federation District’s educational program “Women’s Leadership” has started.

During the two days of the program, 25 participating teams will create social projects by solving specific problems. The final module of the program is essential as the participants will not only present their final projects, but also receive feedback.

Maria Afonina, vice-rector for Educational Activities of the Senezh Management Workshop, says, “We live in a historical time when there is a transition from ego-leadership to eco-leadership. The program “Women’s Leadership” is built architecturally: from personal to collective leadership, from self to team development. It is the power of the community that helps us achieve any goals. More than 40,000 people have become beneficiaries of 97 projects created during the work of the program, and this number will only grow.” Maria stressed that the very fact of the participants' immersion in project activities and involvement in the implementation of their ideas is significant for the program.

According to Elena Shumakova, Director of the Department of Social Relations and Youth Policy of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra, the ideas of the participants' social projects are in tune with the key priorities, namely the development of human potential, intellectual economics, entrepreneurship and health care, of the strategy of socio-economic development of the Ugra region, the Ural Federal District and Russian Federation as a whole. Most importantly, “Women’s Leadership” educational program involves productive interaction of public sector, businesses, and non-profit organizations.

Elena Shumakova noted that it is the breakthrough ideas of social projects that qualitatively change people, environment, and even provide an opportunity for the global changes that modern society needs. The Director of the Department expresses hope for successful and effective implementation of project activities after the completion of the “Women’s Leadership” educational program.
