We clearly understand that in the conditions of today's speed of changes that are taking place in the world, the country and in our region, it is impossible to plan the future in the traditional long-term way. For us, educational program is also a tool for developing those very key initiatives that will be proposed by the residents themselves and at the same time will be tested by experts for viability and feasibility. These initiatives will subsequently be able to work not only for the development of the region, the Ural Federal District, but also in the future, possibly, the country. For us, this is a very important component of the program - to see the request that is formed here and now by active women."
Elena Shumakova drew attention to the fact that Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug has a very developed system of grant support for projects. According to the organizers, a kind of project workshop will work within the framework of the regional program, wh ere social initiatives and new projects will be developed.
"We will look very carefully at the best projects that will be defende as results of the "Woman Leader" program and will correspond to our strategy of social and economic development, so that later they can apply for a grant from the governor and be implemented in the region, and if it is interesting for our colleagues from other constituent entities of the Russian Federation, scale up to other territories. We do not lim it the possibility of students' social design – this is freedom of creativity and freedom of self-realization. But we set certain priorities based on what the region needs here and now. We will propose and test those areas that we believe are priorities for the development of economy and social sphere," Elena Shumakova, Director of the Department of Public, External Relations and Youth Policy of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, said.
