A business conference "The Time of Women in Business in Russia" was held in MoscowOn November 18, a large-scale business conference "The Time of Women in Business in Russia" was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, timed to coincide with the International Day of Women's Entrepreneurship.
The conference participants - representatives of various industries of small, medium and large businesses discussed the development of business processes, the issues of attracting women to the management of large industrial enterprises, technology companies, gender balance in the economy, etc.
Project Coordinator of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum, Head of PR and GR at FGBU Gidrospets-Geologiya, co-founder of the Foundation for the Association of Women in the Nuclear Industry, Alexandra Ryabykh, held a session “Women in STEM” within the framework of the conference.
The main topics of discussion were:
- The role of women in the scientific and technological development of the Russian economy.
- Knowledge is power? Does big business need new Maria Curie, Catherine Bowmani, Hedi Lamarr?
- Digital breakthrough: how companies attract women to IT.
- STEM trajectory: best practices for attracting girls to high-tech industries and stimulating their professional growth.
