May 26th is the Entrepreneur's Day
Entrepreneur's Day is celebrated in Russia on May 26. The International Club “Eurasian Association of Women Regional Leaders” congratulates the businesswomen of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum.
There are more than 1.5 million women entrepreneurs in Russia. According to the results of a survey by the NAFI Analytical Center, 65% of Russian residents want their children or grandchildren to be entrepreneurs. Russian business evokes positive associations among 82% of Russians. 38% of respondents judge entrepreneurs by the quality of their goods or services, 33% by the contribution of private production to the domestic economy.
In Ugra, during the Days of Entrepreneurship, a business hen party was held at the site of the Cultural Headquarters, organized by the Ugra Entrepreneurship Support Fund “My Business.”
According to Irina Gaichentseva, Director General of the Eurasian Association of Women Regional Leaders Public Diplomacy Foundation, the businesswomen were able to talk about their successes and make new contacts. “Every year there are more and more women entrepreneurs. We notice this during meetings where more than 60% of the participants are businesswomen. This is, among other things, the result of our work to increase and support entrepreneurial activity among girls, which corresponds to the National Strategy of Action for Women until 2030,” Irina Alexandrovna shared on social networks.
