OPORA RUSSIA's activities are aimed at resolving acute topical issues from a variety of areas that Russian entrepreneurs face in their daily business practices: legal protection, raising funds, obtaining government support, establishing business contacts within the business community and many others. OPORA RUSSIA is a platform for effective professional dialogue between owners and managers of small and medium-sized businesses and representatives of federal executive authorities, regional authorities and municipalities, regulatory authorities, infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized businesses, as well as representatives of the expert community. OPORA RUSSIA IN FIGURES: regional offices in all 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation; 401 local branches; more than 100 business and industry associations form the Association “Non-commercial partnership, the union of business organizations“ OPORA ”; 34 representatives in foreign countries; OPORA RUSSIA and the Association NP OPORA bring together about 400 thousand entrepreneurs who create more than 5 million jobs. In the structure of "OPORA RUSSIA" there are specialized committees and commissions working on key topics for small and medium-sized businesses. The activities of the Committees and Commissions are aimed at developing proposals to promote the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia. With the direct participation of OPORA RUSSIA, a number of federal laws were developed and adopted: on the protection of competition, on the development of small and medium-sized businesses, on preferential privatization for small entrepreneurs, on the introduction of voluntary UTII, on the introduction of a moratorium on scheduled inspections in relation to small businesses, on replacement of an administrative fine with a warning at the initial detection of an offense, for individual entrepreneurs in certain areas introduced "tax holidays", created a register of small and medium-sized businesses, etc. The expert and analytical activities of OPORA RUSSIA were reflected in a number of government decisions: the Government Commission for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises was created, a procedure for assessing the regulatory impact was introduced, the Strategy for the Development of SMEs until 2030 was adopted, small business was recognized as a priority national project, etc. The result of OPORA RUSSIA's activities is direct and indirect support for small and medium-sized businesses in Russia.
