The Center for Assistance of families with mobilized members “Women's Solidarity” has begun working in Ugra.
The Public Diplomacy Fund “Eurasian Association of Regional Female Leaders” drew attention to the most vulnerable category of the population in connection with the partial mobilization in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, took the initiative to assist the families with mobilized members, and initiated the launch of such center.
The Foundation proposed an initiative to provide the children of families with mobilized members with additional education through placement in centers for development of intellectual and creative abilities, preparation for school, language learning, sports activities.
On November 12, six families from Surgut received first aid due to great response from social entrepreneurs from this municipality. The first participants of the project were the partners of the Public Diplomacy Fund of the Eurasian Association of Regional Female Leaders - the heads of the iClub Intelligence Development Center and the Center for Youth Innovative Creativity.
Children will be able to learn programming, 3D-modeling, design, study computer literacy and English at no charge.
On November 18, in Kogalym, nine more families received support from the Women's Solidarity Family Assistance Center. The Public Diplomacy Foundation “Eurasian Association of Regional Female Leaders” together with the director of the Department of Public, External Relations and Youth Policy of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra presented certificates to young residents of Kogalym for training in two educational centers of the city. Thanks to the entrepreneurs of the Center for Assistance to Families with mobilized members Gulnara Bagapova and Raushan Bolyspaeva, children will be able to study calligraphy, programming, mental arithmetic, English, and get ready for school.
