On June 15, a plenary session was held in Khanty-Mansiysk, which was held as part of an international IT forum with the participation of the BRICS and SCO countries. Galina Karelova, Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Chairperson of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum, sent a welcoming address to the meeting participants. She noted the relevance of the meeting agenda related to global challenges to humanity, including the social and economic consequences of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The restoration requires the joining of efforts of the world community, honest and equal cooperation, the greeting says. The Vice Speaker of the Federation Council stressed the importance of exchanging experience in ensuring employment of people in the face of changes in the nature of the labor market and taking into account the prospects for creating alternative jobs. According to the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs report, 84% of employers are focused on accelerating digitalization of work processes, including expanding teleworking. Companies can potentially transfer 44% of employees to work remotely, for whom adaptation programs will be created in connection with the planned transformation. As noted by the participants of the Eurasian Union of Women - Regional Leaders, the transformation in the market opens up additional opportunities for women with disabilities who are on parental leave. Women leaders, representatives of government bodies, public associations from 13 countries of the world and 29 regions of Russia took part in the work of the gliding meeting. The meeting was addressed by the Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra Natalya Komarova, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Gabonese Republic, Canada, Nicaragua in the Russian Federation, President of the BRICS International Forum Purnima Anand, as well as coordinator of the EWF Council “Woman Leader” project Maria Afonina, head Association of Women Leaders of Digital Transformation, Director of IPR MEDIA Natalya Ivanova, Head of PR and GR at FGBU Gidrospetsgeologiya Alexandra Ryabykh. The decision to create an international discussion club of the Eurasian Association of Women - Regional Leaders was made during the second Eurasian Women's Forum in 2018.
