Meeting of the "Women's Twenty" began in Rome

On July 13, a meeting of the "Women's Twenty" started in Rome. President of the Senate of the Italian Republic Maria Caselatti, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. The session will address issues of sustainable investment in women's entrepreneurship, women's participation in digital transformation, and the achievement of a level playing field in healthcare. The key speakers in the sections will be Secretary General of the International Telecommunications Council Houlin Zhao, Minister of Labor and Social Policy of Italy Andrea Orlando, Minister of Health of Italy Roberto Speranza, Minister of Education of Italy Patricia Bianchi. The Women's Twenty (W20) is one of the youngest G20 outreach formats. The association was established in May 2015 under the Turkish presidency. W20 activities are aimed at consolidating the efforts of women in the G20 countries at the global level in order to use this international institution for the full implementation of gender priorities. At the third Eurasian Women's Forum, the open meeting of the "Women's Twenty" will be held in the traditional format.
